It’s been an exciting back-to-school time at St. Martha this year! Here’s a highlight of what’s been happening on campus:
Students were welcomed back to school on Thursday, August 15, while parents enjoyed at BooHoo/Yahoo party in the parish office basement!

Earlier in the week, faculty and staff joined together for a 2-day retreat – part preparation and professional development; part highly competitive Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt!

On Welcome Back Nights, August 5 & 8, students got the chance to meet their teachers, see their desks, and drop off school supplies. Many old friends were reunited and new ones welcomed!
Parents re-loaded lunch accounts, paid Sports Ministry dues, learned about Scouts and Youth Group, and shopped for uniform staples at the Used Uniform Sale hosted by PTO!

Our PTO was also busy prepping for the new school. year as well! In addition to the Boohoo/Yahoo party, the Hospitality Committee put out welcome signs for new families, created welcome gifts for new students and teachers, published and produced a handy info kit flip book, and threw an Ice Cream Social on July 23 to help re-connect existing Shamrock families and meet new ones!

Prospective families were also encouraged to join our Ice Cream Social (with bounce houses!) after they visited our Open House, also held on July 23. Each Open House visitor received some great Shamrock swag and got the chance to check out our super-fun Pre-school rooms, our impressive MakerSpace STEM Lab, and meet our fabulous faculty & staff.
