Q & A with Mrs. Oyler
Highlight of the year:
“Thanksgiving Feast” when all the preschoolers come together to remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
Passion:
Incorporating fun in the classroom along with learning, so the children love to come to school.
Philosophy:
Each child learns differently, both physically and mentally, so I like to establish different learning techniques based on the children’s needs.
Favorite part of teaching:
Watching the children grow as individuals and to see them so proud of themselves.
Favorite teaching memory:
The Spring Fling and watching the children enjoy all the festivities around Derby.
Favorite thing about St. Martha:
St. Martha feels more like family; like you belong here. Administration, Staff, Families and Parish.
My hope for my students:
To love school as they grow.
Fun fact:
I love to be outdoors and enjoy nature. Spending time with my family and friends at the lake or just walking the Parklands.
