Megan Kuzel comes to us with experience teaching students at St. James in Louisville, KY and Battlefield Elementary in Fredericksburg, VA. She has had the opportunity to work as a Go Noodle Ambassador and has incorporated such work into her practice as a teacher. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders from Bellarmine University. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Passion:
I am passionate about creating a positive and welcoming learning environment where all students have the ability to reach their fullest potential. I am passionate about building a strong classroom community and promoting kindness, respect, and support.
Philosophy:
I believe that students learn best with collaboration and hands-on learning. I believe in making content relatable to my students and taking student interests into account. Learning should be fun!
Favorite part of teaching:
My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth of my students from the first day of school to the last. I love seeing my classroom community grow each day and the relationships I build with my students.
Favorite teaching memory:
One of my favorite memories from my teaching career was hatching chickens in my classroom. Students were able to have a fun hands-on experience while learning about the life cycle of chickens!
My hope for my students:
I hope to instill a love of learning and curiosity within all my students.
Favorite thing about St. Martha:
My favorite thing about St. Martha are the people that are involved with this community. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly!

I love to travel and spend time with my friends and family. You can always find me at the local Target or Chick-fil-a!
