Q & A with Ms. Kuhl
Passion:
I am most passionate about forming strong relationships with my students. Relationships are the foundation of a strong education, so I work hard each day to build and develop those positive relationships with my students.
Philosophy:
I believe in active, engaging, and hands-on lessons. Students, especially our younger friends, learn through doing. I have found that students are more excited and focused when they get to “do” instead of just see.
Favorite part of teaching:
My favorite thing about teaching is that “ah-ha” moment! I love when I get to witness growth in my students and see them grow and change as students and as individuals.
Favorite thing about St. Martha:
I love the strong sense of community we have here.
My hope for my students:
I hope that all students leave my room with a love of learning. I hope my students see the beauty of learning and have a desire and hunger to learn as much as they can. I hope my students know how much God loves them and desire to deepen their relationship with Him. I want them to know they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
Education:
Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, Murray State University
