Growing in Servant Leadership
Along with daily prayer, weekly mass, and sacramental preparation, we work to instill in students the value of service to others. Our community regularly collect supplies and raises money for area ministries and conducts countless hours of service. Immersing our community in service to others can be a transformative endeavoer that fosters a culture of empathy, responsibility, and collaboration.
In an effort to best instill empathy and the need and responsibility to care for and nurture all of God’s creations, St. Martha has created a service program based on the Seven Themes of Catholic Social Teaching. The goal of the program is to bring our service to others to the forefront in all that we do and to foster shared responsibility for each of us to be contributing members of our global society. The goals of our servant leadership program align perfectly with our school’s mission and allow for deeper understanding as the child grows and moves through St. Martha.
