Holly Ray loves music and is excited to bring her love of music to her students. Holly has grown up in Catholic schools and her faith is important to her. She has been involved in her church’s music ministry for several years.

Passion:

I am most passionate about making music accessible to all people and finding hope everyone connects to it differently.

Philosophy:

I believe that hard work will always beat talent, especially when talent doesn’t work hard. My high school teacher instilled that in me and in college it became very apparent.

Favorite part of teaching:

I love making connections with students and watching them grow.

Favorite thing about St. Martha:

I absolutely love the community of faculty and staff! Everyone has been so welcoming and encouraging since the day I came in for my interview. I knew this is the place I wanted to be!

My hope for my students:

I hope that my students see the relevance and importance of music in every aspect of their life. I want them to realize that it is all around them and it can be used as a tool.

Fun fact:

I am an amateur bee keeper and enjoy spending time taking care of my hives.
